We have a fully stocked parts department and knowledgeable staff providing you the support you need, when you may need it.
We also bring our years of expertise in machine building to offer tremendous value in helping you maximize your return on investment.
History
In 1989 key people with many years of machine and tooling experience began the development of our transplanter. About that time new technology was offering small PLC’s (Programmable Logical Controllers) and many other control components, which opened the door for this type of equipment development. After years of research and testing the units were ready for market, and in 1994 RAPID Automated Systems was formed. We’ve taken our design & manufacturing experience and applied it to our entire product line.
Service & Support
We have a full service machine shop at our location providing us the ability to have machined parts on hand at all times. Many growers have mentioned they like the simple and practical design of our equipment. Each unit is built with pride at our factory in the USA and special attention is given to detail. Using stainless steel and aluminum construction along with first rate components, assures you years of reliable service suitable for the greenhouse environment. All of our units are backed up by people who care, offering technical support when you need it.
Our Design Philosophy
The design philosophy at RAPID is one of common sense– build equipment with the use of good engineering, which results in practical, efficient equipment that is simple to operate. This philosophy has provided the grower with quality equipment they can understand; and has also contributed to a reasonably priced unit. We have some of the most competitively priced equipment in the industry.
